I think one of the reasons Askimet does such a good job filtering spaments - I've never had one get through - is that it goes slightly overboard so that you'll occasionally get some real comments tagged as spam. Then , every once in a while, Askimet seems to temporarily lose its mind and sends way too many to the spam queue.
