I've been considering checking out the Rec pool there on weekends and my off days. It's good to know that it's not crowded. Do they have water aerobics equipment for people to use? Maybe I'll see you there.

Re: In the swim

I love swimming, too! Does your pool have any water weights? (foam "dumbells") I've found those to be an excellent way to get some exercise while enjoying the water.

Re: In the swim

I love any water at all...but it is a little unnerving to have something nibble on your toes while you're in the ocean :) I'm glad you're enjoying the pool...Harvey's doesn't have one, but that's OK...I don't know if I'd ever get in a public pool or not :) Splash a little for me :)

Re: In the swim

Whatever works for you and keeps you going! I have a rule: Thou shalt not swim in waters that you cannot see the to the bottom of! I think the movie "Jaws" put that fear in me when I was but a wee child. Much success on your weight loss, I empathize with you as I'm on the Weight Watchers regimen. Some days are really tough, but keep it up. It will pay off!
