I hope you recover nicely. I had mine taken out when I was 18. Daddy said that after two years of braces, no way was I getting wisdom teeth and messing up all that work, so he yanked 'em out. I recovered OK but got an infection about a week later...ick! Take it VERY easy...don't over-do!

Glad they gave you something other than Vicodin. "For pain" I was told. Well, I took it when I hurt but found out since that you have to take Vicodin right away, before the pain starts or it won't work anywhere near as well as you want.

I had lots and lots of Fudgecicles. And rice pudding.

I had mine cut out when I was in high school before they ever started coming in. I had no room in my mouth for them. The doc left the holes open so that I wouldn't get dry socket, and he told me to go home and eat pizza. No soft foods for me! So, that night, I sat with this contraption on my head that held a cold pack to each side of my face and ate a small bowl of ham and beans. Took me an hour! :lol:
