I've only been watching the occasional repeat, but Monday's episode from mid-2001 (Julia Roberts) definitely had a New York joke. It stuck out. Maybe the Cher episode's line, whatever it was, seemed inappropriate to whomever vets that sort of thing before rebroadcast.
